Ansonia Property Management (APM) is a Chicago-based multifamily and commercial real estate management firm. We have a successful track record of implementing value-add strategies at previously underperforming properties, and are positioned for continued growth. Since 2014, we’ve brought over 1,000 apartment units and over 500,000 sf of commercial property under management.

We have a great opportunity for a Facilities Manager  based out of our office in Chicago’s West Loop to oversee overall project management for our growing portfolio of Chicago multi-family apartment properties.. This is a new position so the successful candidate must be able to create a thoughtful new set of standards and protocols, and implement them across the company. 


Project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and budget control for capital improvements, renovation, rehabilitation  while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Other responsibilities span a broad spectrum, including:

  • Assess and prioritize capital expenditure issues and opportunities.
  • Manage development, restoration and upgrade projects.
  • Financial Analysis and Contract Negotiation
  • Maintenance Standards and Training
  • Risk & Safety
  • Obtain sub-contractor estimates and bids and manage subcontractors' progress against plan. Oversee construction schedules, budget and insure project is completed within deadline and budget.


  • 5+ years in oversight and management of multifamily housing maintenance or commercial construction, including working knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Experience managing maintenance and preventive maintenance programs for office or apartment properties.
  • Successful history of collaboration with multiple disciplines including municipal fire, health & safety inspectors; general contractors and subcontractors; architects and landscape and interior design professionals; and owners and financial partners.
  • Familiarity with incident management and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, major in a related field.
  • Experience in the architectural field is a plus.
